On Friday, September 20, 2013, Candy & Snack Today shared some delicious news from M&M Mars regarding the release of several new candy products for the upcoming year. Birthday cake M&M's, Twix Bites, Dove Promises dark chocolate
sea salt and caramel and Snickers Rockin’ Nut Road Bars are among the
new offerings that will be hitting store shelves at various times
throughout 2014.
January will see the roll out of 3 Musketeers and Milky Way Simply Caramel Bites. These will be available in 2.83 and seven ounce bags which will retail for $1.49 and $2.99. Also coming in January will be Dove Promises in dark chocolate with sea salt and caramel. The 8.5 ounce bags will retail for $3.49. Twix Bites will follow in April in the same size and price points as the other "Bite" products. M&M's Birthday Cake Chocolate Candies will enter the market in May. These candies are also available in two sizes: 1.4 ounce for $1.09 and eight ounce for $2.99.
Those of you who enjoyed M&M's Mega Milk Chocolate candies from years past will be happy to hear that the recipe has been reformulated with the new version will be available in May, alongside with a peanut version. Both flavors will be available in 1.48 ounce bags at 1.09 and 11.4 ounce bags at $3.29. The candies boast three times the chocolate of their regular size counterparts. Last, and certainly not least, Snickers Rockin’ Nut Road Bars will be unveiled in January. This new product features marshmallow flavored nougat and almonds covered in dark chocolate. The 1,76 ounce bars will retail for $1.09.
From a candy perspective, it looks like 2014 will be a very enticing year, indeed!
